EMDR Therapy

I’m both pleased and excited to be able to offer EMDR  therapy. EMDR therapy offers a Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy – a powerful, evidence-based approach designed to help individuals overcome the impact of trauma and life’s challenges.

EMDR is a unique and effective method that facilitates healing by unlocking the natural healing processes within the mind. Whether you’re navigating past traumas, anxiety, or other issues, I am here to walk and guide you through you being able to overcome your distress and offer peace. EMDR therapy maybe beneficial for you if :

The Benefit of EMDR

EMDR therapy gives you the benefits of a reasonably quick therapy process ;

The number of EMDR therapy sessions needed can vary depending on several factors, including the nature and severity of the issues being addressed, the individual’s response to treatment, and their overall therapeutic goals.

However, research suggests that many individuals experience significant improvement within under 10 sessions, though some may require fewer or more sessions.

For individuals with single-event traumas or specific phobias, fewer sessions may be needed, often ranging from 1-5 sessions. On the other hand, individuals with complex trauma or multiple issues may require more sessions to achieve desired outcomes.

Ultimately, the duration of EMDR therapy is tailored to each person’s unique needs and progress. I will work collaboratively with you to establish a treatment plan and regularly assess your progress to determine the appropriate number of sessions needed to meet your goals.
