Walk, Talk and Outdoor Therapy

I offer walk, talk and outdoor therapy. Many clients feel calmer and can find it therapeutic to talk and explore difficult feelings whilst walking.

The movement can ease tension and help you feel more comfortable. The natural surroundings can ground your thoughts, soothe any anxiety and improve your mood.

Walk, talk and outdoor therapy might be for you if :

  • You are a new parent and need to bring the baby along with you in a pram/baby carrier.
  • You are nervous about counselling
  • You enjoy being outdoors and amongst nature
  • You are busy, combining exercise and therapy works well for you
  • You feel uncomfortable with eye contact
  • You dislike professional settings

Walk, talk & outdoor therapy gives you the benefits of physical activity, as well as therapy. Both of these are known to release tension and improve mood.

You will set the pace of the walk, if you would rather sit on a blanket in the park or the beach – we can do this too. (We will always go at your own pace!)
